The Undera Landcare groups started in 1988 because of concerns by the community with the high Watertables and tree decline in the groups area.
Since 1988 landholders have become involved in exploratory drilling, tree planting programs on-farm and an extensive Watertable Watch Program looking a t watertable levels in the area.
Undera Landcare groups are keen to not only create an awareness of salinity / high Watertables in the area but to ensure that on ground works are implemented to address the problem.
